Pre-Conference Workshop
Join us the morning of Tuesday, May 14, for a pre-conference workshop focused on team science! From 9am- 11am attendees will learn about tools and resources that can be used to build a high-functioning interdisciplinary research team to pursue complex initiatives.
Participants will:
- Network with other NIAMRRE members interested in cross-cutting collaborations
- Engage in hands-on team-building exercises
- Gain skills in building and facilitating multi-disciplinary research teams
- Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) remains among the world’s most critical challenges.
Attend this workshop to gain essential skills for leveraging team science to create breakthrough AMR- related discoveries across the One Health spectrum.
Tour The Ohio State University
Choose from two tour options that highlight Ohio’s legacy and future innovations.
Option 1: Ohio State Main Campus
This tour will showcase various hallmark sites on The Ohio State University Columbus Campus, including Ohio Stadium (The Horseshoe), the Oval, Thompson Library, the Ohio Union, and a bus tour of the health sciences colleges district and the Wexner Medical Center.
Option 2: Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine Campus
This tour will feature a visit to Ohio State’s College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and various CVM facilities, including the CVM clinical skills lab, the Infectious Diseases Institute Genomics and Microbiology Solutions Lab (IDI-GEMS), the Spectrum of Care Clinic, the Veterinary Medical Center, and the recently opened Equine Performance Evaluation Arena. The tour will end with a visit to Ohio Stadium (The Horseshoe).
