
The NIAMRRE 2026 Conference Planning Committee invites AMR researchers from across the One Health space to submit an abstract for presentation in Ames, IA. The committee is seeking abstracts for posters and 4-minute Lightning talks related to research, programs, or technologies addressing antimicrobial resistance. Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of AMR experts and will be selected based on the content of the submission, available space, diversity in One Health sectors, and overall program balance.

The Lightning Talks will take place on Tuesday, May 19 and Thursday, May 21. These talks should be a succinct, high-level overview of your research, technology, or program. Detailed instructions will be sent to presenters when they are notified of acceptance. Due February, 21, 2026
Poster presenters will be asked to be near their posters during the poster session on Tuesday, May 19. Maximum poster dimensions are 3 feet wide by 4 feet high. Due February, 21, 2026
During the conference, graduate and professional student posters will be reviewed by a panel of judges with monetary prizes going to the top three posters. Awards will be presented before the closing session on Thursday, May 19.

Abstracts will be reviewed in a blind-review process and will be selected based on content of the submission, available space, diversity across the One Health sectors, and overall program balance.
