2027 NIAMRRE CONFERENCE CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Share your research or technology with AMR Professionals across the One Health space
The NIAMRRE 2027 Conference Planning Committee invites AMR researchers from across the One Health space to submit an abstract for presentation in State College, Pennsylvania. The committee is seeking abstracts for posters and 4-minute Lightning talks related to research, programs, or technologies addressing antimicrobial resistance. Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of AMR experts and will be selected based on the content of the submission, available space, diversity in One Health sectors, and overall program balance.

Lightning Talks
The Lightning Talks will take place on Tuesday, May 11 and Thursday, May 13. These talks should be a succinct, high-level overview of your research, technology, or program. Detailed instructions will be sent to presenters when they are notified of acceptance. NIAMRRE cannot accommodate special requests to speak on specific dates. Applications due Monday, February 22, 2027.
Poster Session
Poster presenters will be asked to be near their posters during the poster session on Tuesday, May 11. Maximum poster dimensions are 3 feet wide by 4 feet high. Applications due, Monday, February 22, 2027
Graduate Student Poster Competition
During the conference, graduate and professional student posters will be reviewed by a panel of judges with monetary prizes going to the top three posters. Awards will be presented before the closing session on Thursday, May 13.
Travel Award
NIAMRRE is proud to offer 6 students $500 travel awards to aid in attending the 2027 NIAMRRE Conference.
Travel awards will be in the form of reimbursement for qualified travel expenses, such as conference registration fees, hotel, meals, ground and/or air transportation. Documentation, such as receipts, will be required for reimbursement of travel expenses. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee a travel award will be made. Travel Award applications due Monday, February 22, 2027.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a graduate or professional student enrolled in a degree program in the US.
- Must be currently reside in the US.
